Beverley has directed and produced over 25 films in locations from the slums of Calcutta and the banks of the Nile to the streets of Saigon and the jungles of Central America. She has received many awards including a special citation from Save the Children in recognition of her efforts to bring stories of children in the developing world to their western counterparts. She also has extensive experience as a scriptwriter and has published two textbooks and a memoir.
Peter has over 30 years experience as a Director of Photography and cinematographer. His production credits include all types of documentary, drama, and educational film and video. He has worked in partnership with clients including the BC Union of Indian Chiefs, the Chief Dan George Foundation, the Bella Coola Band and many others. His unique and rich cinematic style has been recognized by numerous film festivals.
Beverley and Peter taught filmmaking at Ho Chi Minh University, Vietnam and are Asia Pacific Fellows as awarded by the British Columbia Centre for International Education.
Coming Home Films works with location sound recordists, camera operators and assistants, production assistants, editors, composers and musicians, production managers, narrators, actors and graphic artists.
